Biography
My educational research interests include equity issues concerning education in the Central Valley of California. My book Community Equity Audits (2019) focuses on bringing equitable solutions to schools using community equity audits, and its second edition (2020) addresses the pandemic. I am also the Program Manager for a local collective where my primary focus is to coordinate and manage the Focus on Prevention initiative throughout Stanislaus County. Focus on Prevention aims to improve the quality of life of all Stanislaus residents and families through the coordination and catalyzing of prevention-focused efforts.
