Information

My name is Lisa Carlstrom, and I am a professor in the Psychology Department. I currently teach Psychology 121 (Statistics for the Social Sciences), Psychology 110 (Human Sexualities), and Psychology 141 (Human Lifespan Development).

As an undergraduate, I went to Cal Poly San Luis Obispo, where I earned a B.S. in Psychology with a concentration in Applied Developmental Psychology. I went to graduate school at UCLA, where I earned both an M.A. and Ph.D. in Psychology with a focus in Measurement and Psychometrics (Applied Statistics).

My research interests include teenage pregnancy prevention, implementation of comprehensive sex education programs, and parent-adolescent communication about sex.
