Biography
I am from Stockton and attended San Joaquin Delta College before transferring to Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore. I have an MA in composition from Johns Hopkins and an MA in Education with an emphasis in reading instruction from CSU Stanislaus. I began teaching at MJC in the fall of 2002 as an adjunct English instructor; I moved to a full-time position in the Reading Department in the fall of 2005. I teach Reading 40 (Reading Comprehension), Reading 82 (College Reading), Reading 184 (Critical Reading), and College Skills 100 (Foundation for First Year College Success).
