Biography

Matt Dunn here. I'm an adjunct at Columbia and teach classes in Hospitality Management. My fulltime gig is running an employment program outside Yosemite National Park for Evergreen and Rush Creek Lodges. The program hires young people new to the work force and provides them with real-world hospitality training, coupled with outdoor recreation and personal growth components. I've worked in and around the hospitality business for most of my professional career. Prior to moving to the Sierra foothills, I worked in the non-profit sector in San Francisco and also spent time as an adjunct teaching English at a community college in my hometown of Chattanooga, TN.
