Biography

Name: Eric Fischer
B.A. Communication; Minor in Business (California State University Fresno)
M.S. In Sports Science, Sports Coaching (United States Sports Academy)
15 years experience in teaching Healthful Living, Kinesiology and Sport and Society , and 30 years of coaching Water polo and swimming at the high school to college level. 

I am a Full-time instructor at MJC. This is my 15th year of teaching  PE 110 (Healthful living) and Kin 100 (Intro to Kinesiology) and KIN 103 (Sport and Society) and now KIN 105 (Intro to Sport Management) , I am also the Men's Water polo and Men Swim coach at MJC.
I have been at Coaching Water polo at MJC for 20 years.

I am a local Modesto resident, I went to Grace Davis High School, graduated from MJC, playing water polo and swimming earning  All-American honors my senior year in water polo at Davis HS and both years at MJC and my sophomore year in swimming at MJC,  and then went to Fresno State and played water polo and swam for my final two years of competition.

I am married to Terri O'Brien Fischer, for over 20 years with 4 children, a very busy household. My wife is a teacher also.  I play golf in my semi-free time and still not that good at it, but it is fun.
