Kelsey Halstead
Biography
I began my career at Columbia College in the summer of 2017 as an Admissions & Records Specialist. In 2020, I transitioned to the External Initiatives department, where I currently serve as a Program Specialist for the Rising Scholars Program, dedicated to supporting both our on-campus Rising Scholars students and our incarcerated student population.
In addition to my full-time role, I am committed to teaching, offering instruction in BUSAD-40 (Principles of Management Leadership) and BUSAD-24 (Human Relations). My teaching extends beyond the traditional campus environment to Sierra Conservation Center, where I engage with and support incarcerated students.
Outside of work, I enjoy exploring the outdoors, reading, and hiking in the beautiful landscapes of the region. I hold a B.A. in Liberal Arts and a Master’s in Public Administration with a concentration in Human Resources Management, both from Notre Dame de Namur University.
