Rosa Hernandez

I am a proud Oaxaqueña and a first-generation college graduate. Earning three associate degrees from Merced College, my BA in Psychology from UC Merced, and an MA in Counseling along with my PPS credential from the University of San Diego. As an alumnus of EOPS, I strongly students to explore all student service programs provided at Columbia College. 

At Columbia College, I proudly serve as a full-time counselor for EOPS, NextUp, CalWORKs, and the Dream Resource Center. I welcome you to take a class with me, I teach Guidance and Psychology courses throughout the year. I also serve on a variety of committees for the college including Cultural Enrichment Committee, WOW, Transfer, and UndocuAllies. 

In my free time, I enjoy being with my family and spending time with my dachshunds. I typically find myself busy but please stop by my office when I am on campus to say “hi”!
