I received my BA in English Education and my MA in TESOL (Teaching English to Students of Other Languages) from California State University, Sacramento. I taught ESL Adult Education classes in Calaveras County and Sacramento, and I taught reading, writing, grammar, and pronunciation classes for international college students at CSU Sacramento. I have been teaching ESL for Columbia College since 2008. As I continue to learn Spanish, I understand the struggles of learning a new language. In addition to traveling with my husband and visiting our two grown children, I enjoy reading, watching movies, swimming, golfing, skiing, and hiking. Most of all, I enjoy teaching!
