Biography
About Me:
I grew up in Modesto and went to Beyer High School. From there I went to UC Davis, University of the Pacific for my Masters and Credential, and University of Phoenix for my doctorate.
I've been a high school teacher, a site administrator, a district administrator, and I've worked for the Community College Chancellor's office. I ran a nonprofit agriculture education organization for six years as well. I taught at MJC in the 1990s while also working at Davis High School. After 22 years, I am teaching English here again. I am also the newly appointed Executive Director of the MJC Foundation so you can find me on East campus most days
.
When I am not pottering around in education, I play soccer and am writing a novel. I like to travel, read, and try to keep tabs on my son at CSU Fullerton and our three cats and one dog.
