Biography

I grew up in Tracy, CA. I attended Delta College in Stockton for a few years, then transferred down to the University of California, San Diego where I graduated with my Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering. After graduating, I came back up to Modesto and spent the first two years of my career working as a Mechanical Draftsman at B&H Labeling in Ceres. I then picked up a Maintenance Planner position at Pacific Southwest Container in Modesto, where I stayed for two years. I then moved out to the high desert of California for three years, where I worked as a Maintenance/Reliability Engineer at Searles Valley Minerals in Trona, then at CalPortland Cement Co in Mojave. I then came back up to central California and worked at Oldcastle Enclosure Solutions as Engineering Manager for their Madera plant for two years.

At that point, I chose to leave the engineering world and dive into the field which I had always had my sights set ever since junior college: the education field. I have been teaching at Monte Vista Middle School in Tracy for the past few years all while going to school again to get my Teaching Credential. I'm also currently teaching this course at MJC, and may be teaching other courses here in the future.
