Biography
I am a 5th generation forest landowner who is interested in today’s changing conditions of forest conservation and fire resiliency. I studied Geography, Theatre, and Natural Resource Land Management at Humboldt State University, earning my Bachelors Degree before returning to the Sierra Nevada and becoming a Forestry and Natural Resources graduate at Columbia College.
My career at Columbia College began as the tutor and lab assistant for the FNR program in 2008 and I found a true passion in teaching forestry. I've linked several of the researchers I follow for your reading enjoyment and as a student resource.
I love to garden, hike, cook, read, spend time with my family, and apply the concepts I study and teach on my family ranch. My goal is to make science accessible and applicable for everyone.
