Information

Lisa Murphy is a lifetime learner who loves outdoor adventure.  Some of her passions include: reading books and new scientific studies, ocean kayaking, back country snow play, cycling, traveling to areas of high biodiversity, hiking, and hanging out under a starry sky watching the bats come out.


In addition to teaching for Columbia College, Lisa is co-founder of the Gold Country Bat Project and served on the Board of Directors for Tuolumne Utility District.

MS - Arthur Temple College of Forestry and Agriculture at Stephan F. Austin State University  - Masters in Natural Resources and Communication

Cal Poly San Luis Obispo - BA

Fresno Pacific University - Teaching Credential - (Multiple subject, single subject: science and English)

Soil Health Academy Certification – Chico State Center for Regenerative Agriculture
