Biography
Alessia Nanni Weisberg obtained her PhD in Italian Studies at UCLA. She teaches Italian language at Modesto Junior College. She's also professor of Italian Studies at California State University, Northridge. Her research focuses on Contemporary Italian Literature, Culture and Language Instruction. Her dissertation delves into the memoirs written by members of the Red Brigades, a terrorist group highly active in Italy during the ‘70s. She has taught Italian language, Literature and Culture in various institutions including UCLA, USC and Loyola Marymount University.
